San Francisco bay-area band Grampa’s Chili which got its start in the early ‘90s has been re-energized recently and the group is ready to tackle the music industry in 2012. 

They guys from Poor Man’s Whiskey are gearing up for some big shows over the next few months. 

Assembling an arsenal of talented musicians for a full-length album is not an easy feat.  Working around schedules, time and money seems to be the hardest challenge when self-producing a new CD.  But, Scott Cooper from Santa Cruz California has mustered some of the finest talent in the bay area for his latest album, A Leg Trick.

The guys from the band Willies Light are at it again with their new EP called Whole New Reality just released this winter. 

During the early ‘90s and well before the internet craze, life for a musician was dramatically different.  At the time, up and coming bands could get signed to a major  label and stand out among the myriads of acts all vying for a place in history.
